Scopa is a traditional Italian card game played in regions of Italy for over 400 years.
Scopa is as Italian as pizza and gondoliers. Whenever you sweep all the cards on the table, you’ll score! Bravo!
Authentic Italian suits and imagery adorn the game’s beautiful cards – each of which contains all the information you need to play with ease.
On your turn, play a card from your hand that matches the value of one or more of the cards on the table. For example, “7” takes a “7” or a combination – like a “1” and a “6”. Can’t match? You must add a card to the table. Ouch! This improves your opponent’s chances. At round’s end points are awarded according to the cards you’ve captured. (The “7” of Coins is especially valuable!)
